Kirkpatrick posts $240K in 1st quarter
By Evan Brown, PolitickerAZ.com ReporterAnn Kirkpatrick, former State Rep. from Flagstaff, raised $240,000 in the first quarter of the year, according to a Democratic Party insider.
The nearly quarter-million-dollar haul cements her frontrunner status in the race to be the Democratic nominee for the CD1 seat, which is being vacated by indicted congressman Rick Renzi.
Her rivals, Mary Kim Titla and Howard Shanker have not revealed their fundraising totals, but Shanker is expected to unveil his later this week.
