Napolitano to campaign with Obama in Florida
By Evan Brown, PolitickerAZ.com ReporterGov. Janet Napolitano will be heading back out on the trail for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama over the weekend. She will be campaigning for Obama in Florida on Saturday, her office has announced.
On Saturday, Napolitano is scheduled to appear alongside the senator from Illinois at an "economic town hall" in Daytona Beach, before heading to another event with the same theme in St. Petersburg.
A week earlier, Napolitano was in Ohio and Pennsylvania on Obama's behalf, appearing with Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. This Saturday, though, will mark the first time Napolitano has appeared with Obama on the campaign trail since he wrapped up his party's nomination.
According to her office, Napolitano's trips are being financed by the Obama campaign.
