Reports: Napolitano to lead Homeland Security

Gov. Janet Napolitano will lead President-elect Barack Obama's Department of Homeland Security, according to multiple news reports.

If the governor goes to Washington with the Obama administration, Secretary of State Jan Brewer would serve the remaining two years of Napolitano's second term.

The fourth and final day of the Democratic National Convention will be called to order at 5:00 PM EST on Thursday, with a theme of "Change You Can Believe In."

Giffords releases ad on energy

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Tucson) released a new television ad addressing the energy crisis on Tuesday titled "Out Here".

"Out here, you can’t rely on anyone but yourself," begins Giffords in the ad. "When it comes to energy, that's what America needs to do."

The ad then highlights Giffords' proposed solution to the energy problem.
