With only hours remaining before donations no longer count toward Quarter 1 - the deadline is 9 p.m. local time - the Bob Lord campaign, which started 2008 with an attention-grabbing $500K on hand, is making an 11th hour effort to outdo last year's impressive efforts.

Today the campaign put out this unusual pitch, wherein the candidate appeared to publicly disseminate an urgent email from campaign manager Andrew Eldredge-Martin.

With the first quarter coming to a close, John Shadegg’s political office is focused on raising money.

Chief-of-Staff Sean Noble says is the re-election campaign trying to “replenish the funds” after the slow-down in fundraising after Shadegg’s initial announcement that he was retiring last month.

“We want to be back up and maintain a cash balance,” Noble said.
