Tidball withdraws, endorses Bee

State Sen. Tim Bee (R-Tucson) had a good day Tuesday in his CD8 congressional campaign: He filed 6,604 signatures, which his campaign claims is the most ever filed by a Republican running for that seat; and a one-time rival, former independent candidate Derek Tidball, dropped out of the race by way of endorsing Bee.

Mitchell sees tough road to re-election

Rep. Harry Mitchell (D-5) made an honest judgment to the Green Valley News about the intensity of the re-election bid he faces this year.

"I will have to say that it's going to be very difficult. I know it’s going to be hard, it’s going to take a lot of work,” he told GVN in an interview. He's still optimistic about his chances, though. "But I'm going to win," he added.

Pima Republicans hits Giffords over No. 1 franked mail ranking
