Ogsbury reports $259K at end of period

5th Congressional District Republican primary candidate Jim Ogsbury had $258,730 as of Aug. 13, according to the report the campaign filed with the Federal Elections Commission on Wednesday.

According to the report, Ogsbury raised $27,246, after a $150 refund, between July 1 and Aug. 13. His total cash on hand includes $250,000 he lent the campaign at the outset.

Shadegg crows as Lord finds silver lining

"In the most recent quarter, our campaign raised $564,205, which is well over twice as much as the $235,000 raised by my opponent," wrote Shadegg. "This figure is well above our prior record for any fundraising quarter.

$337K for Mitchell in 2Q

Harry Mitchell (D-Tempe) raised $337,000 during the second quarter of the year, according to his campaign manager Seth Scott. Scott told PolitickerAZ.com that Mitchell has now raised $1.71 million for his re-election, and now has a cash on hand balance of $1.37 million.

Ogsbury raises nearly $50K for quarter

Jim Ogsbury raised $49,783 during the second quarter of the year, outpacing his previous quarterly fundraising effort by about $9,000, according to his campaign. He has raised close to $500,000 to date in his 5th Congressional District primary campaign for the Republican nomination.

However, Ogsbury's cash on hand total is below what he reported at the beginning of the second quarter. As of now, his campaign has $323,442 - $30,000 less than he had on April 1.

$562K for Giffords in 2Q; Bee still counting

U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Tucson) raised $562,138 in the second quarter of the year, bringing her cash on hand total to almost $2.1 million, according to her campaign. Her opponent in the 8th Congressional District race, state Sen. Pres. Tim Bee (R-Tucson), will not be releasing his second quarter figures until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Shadegg's reversal cost him $60K

John Shadegg by around $70,000 for the quarter and narrowing the cash on hand gap in what has become a tighter-than-expected money race.

Shadegg posts $150K, behind Lord

Rep. John Shadegg (R-3) added $150,716 to his treasury between the new year and Mar. 31, bringing his cash on hand total to $937,673. Shadegg has raised $1,168,695 to date.

However, Bob Lord, Shadegg's Democratic challenger in CD3, is not as far behind as Shadegg might like. Lord has $630,000 on hand (according to the Lord campaign. Exact numbers to come when available) and has raised $830,000 to date.

Mitchell easily out raises Republican opponents

Freshman Congressman Harry Mitchell has reported raising $322,160 in the first quarter of 2008.  Mitchell ends the quarter with $1.12 million cash on hand leading the way among candidates in CD5.

Kirkpatrick has close to a half million cash on hand

CD1 Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick filed officially with $257,400 raised in the first quarter and had $465,464 cash on hand. So far Kirkpatrick has a strong lead over any other CD1 Congressional candidate.

State Representative Mark Anderson has raised $55,115 in the first quarter of 2008 for his Republican primary in CD5. Anderson ended the quarter with $69,985 cash on hand.
