Mayes: Sharing the pain

Arizona Corporation Commission Chairman Kris Mayes will not let her agency's corporation's division suffer alone.
After the commissioners voted to close the four-member Tucson corporations office and transfer those workers plus eight Phoenix-based employees to another division, Mayes said she will take a voluntary pay cut and will cut her office budget by 10 percent.
Mayes earlier had said she would take a furlough day if commissioners decided to impose furloughs on staffers (they did, a one-day mandatory day off without pay for all corporations-division staffers) but was advised she can't. State Budget "Collateral Damage"

Posted by AzBlueMeanie:

When the Accidental Governor vetoed the package of budget bills on July 1, her intent was to create "collateral damage" to state agencies (and GOP policies embedded into budget bills) to force compromise on a budget more to her liking. No urgency at Capitol as budget woes loom

Face it…We Need A New Strategy

The Arizona Republican Party is in need of a makeover…

Lisa James is a proven leader.

Lisa is well-respected across the state for her hard work on the Bush campaigns and within the Party for her experience, skills and knowledge to ramp up registration, increase the donor base, and bring home the vote without compromising the Party Platform.
