Anti-Prop 200 forces to hold rally at Capitol

Arizonans for Responsible Lending, the coalition leading the fight against Proposition 200, will hold a rally Thursday morning to oppose the initiative, which seeks to keep payday lending legal in Arizona by instituting changes to the system such as lower interest rates and restrictions on the number of loans a single borrower can take out at once.

Anti-Prop. 200 group releases Lenny the Loanshark ad

Arizonans for Responsible Lending has released an internet ad that employs humor in alerting voters to what they see as the dangers associated with Proposition 200.

Titled "Lenny the Loanshark," the ad features a mafia-type payday lender explaining how Prop. 200 would benefit him and his "associates."
