Democrats finalize delegate list

Some went home disappointed, and some secured a ticket to Denver, but at the end of the night on Saturday the Arizona Democratic Party had its list. With more than 500 Democrats voting at their convention, a mix of elected officials and party activists joined the list drawn up in March at the Congressional District caucuses to complete the 67-delegate-strong Arizona delegation to the Democratic National Convention.

Napolitano dialing for Obama

Janet Napolitano has been enlisted to help win over superdelegates to Barack Obama's camp, according to a New York Times article out today:

"Mr. Obama has enlisted Tom Daschle, the popular former Senate majority leader, as well as Gov. Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, the party’s 2004 presidential nominee.
