Arizona: Tom Carlson

There are now 4 announced Republican candidates running for the party's nomination in 2010. This time 2 years ago we were still 6 months away from Tim Bee's announcement. The candidates are Jesse Kelly, Andy Goss, Tom Carlson, and Brian Miller. They are all new to politics but one of them, Jesse Kelly, is doing very well leveraging his early endorsement from former Congressman Duncan Hunter.

Hunter is coming to Tucson this weekend to help raise money for Kelly's campaign and the news made the front page of the Congressional Quarterly Politics web site.
