Nation picks up Marin IJ nod
By Alex Isenstadt, Politicker.com ReporterDemocratic state Senate candidate Joe Nation today won the endorsement of the Independent Journal, a Marin newspaper with a daily circulation of 40,000.
“The IJ endorses Joe Nation because he would do the best job for Marin, for the district and for the state,” writes the paper in an editorial.
Nation, an environmental consultant and a former assemblyman, is challenging District 3 incumbent Carole Migden in a June 3 Democratic primary. Also competing in the primary is San Francisco-area Assemblyman Mark Leno.
