Lee, Reich to headline discussion on ‘America's economic future'

OAKLAND -- Congresswoman Barbara Lee and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich will discuss the future of America and the need for crafting a more cogent and inclusive economic policy and what role the 9th Congressional District can play in ending the occupation in Iraq.

The discussion will take place at the Oakland Museum at 1000 Oak St. in Oakland on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Reich, who served as secretary of labor under the Clinton Administration, is presently a professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at the UC Berkeley.
