Harman, Reicher candidates for Obama administration posts

U.S. Rep. Jane Harman (D-Los Angeles) and California resident Dan Reicher, director of climate change and energy initiatives at Google, are rumored to be candidates for top posts in the administration of President-elect Barack Obama, according to the Associated Press.

Harman, a veteran congresswoman who chairs the Intelligence Subcommittee on the House Committee on Homeland Security, was mentioned as a possible National Intelligence Director.

She had previously been thought of as a potential Homeland Security Secretary, but it appears Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano is in line for that post.

Reicher, who moved to the Golden State last year for the Google job, is rumored to be a candidate to head the Department of Energy.

Reicher previously served as Assistant Secretary of Energy under President Bill Clinton.
