Assembly Republican Leader Mike Villines (R-Clovis) unveiled his full leadership team Tuesday for the 2008-10 legislative session.

Villines appointed Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee (R-San Luis Obispo) as Republican floor manager, after he named Assemblyman Cameron Smyth (R-Santa Clarita) as Assembly Republican Caucus Chair last week.

He also named the following legislators as Assembly Republican Leaders:

• Assemblyman Roger Niello, R-Fair Oaks
• Assemblyman Bill Emmerson, R-Redlands
• Assemblyman Ted Gaines, R-Roseville
• Assemblyman Van Tran, R-Costa Mesa
• Assemblyman Martin Garrick, R-Carlsbad

Three Assembly members received the title of Chief Republican Whips:

• Assemblyman Anthony Adams, R-Hesperia
• Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, R-Irvine
• Assemblywoman Jean Fuller, R-Bakersfield

And Villines named three newly elected Assemblymen as Republican Whips:

• Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher, R-San Diego
• Assemblyman Jeff Miller, R-Corona
• Assemblyman Jim Nielsen, R-Gerber
