Poll: Leno has big lead over Migden

Incumbent Carole Migden is running third in the hotly contested Democratic State Senate primary in District 3, according to a KPIX-TV/SurveyUSA poll released today.  Assemblyman Mark Leno holds a huge lead over his two opponents --  Leno, with 42%, leads former Assemblyman Joe Nation (22%) and Migden, who is at 21%.

Ose triggers millionaire clause

Former Congressman Doug Ose, who is seeking a political comeback four years after voluntarily retiring in a neighboring district, has trigged the millionaire’s amendment through a personal campaign loan of $849,000.  Now his primary opponent, State Sen. Tom McClintock, has a new limit on contributions; $6,900.
