Rep. Pete Stark finds a new way to be pathetic

For more than 30 years, Bay area congressman Pete Stark has made a habit of saying, stupid offensive things based on his inexplicable notion of himself as being some kind of special truth-teller operating from an exalted moral high ground....

Democrat Pete Stark Caught Stealing From the People of Maryland

Everybody knows that Democrat Pete Stark is a flake and a nut.  Now we know why he is a Democrat--he is a tax cheat.

He is registered to vote in California, he represents California in Congress--but for years has told officials in Maryland that Maryland is his PRIMARY residence.  For that he got a tax break on his homeowners taxes--illegally.

Why isn't he being indicted for theft?  why isn't he being forced to pay his back taxes?  Why isn't;t he being investigated by the House Ethics Committee.

Easy answers--he is an Obama Democrat, rules and laws means nothing to them.  Corruption is a way of life,  Barack is just another Chicago politician--taught by Wright, Ayers, Davis, Rezko and friends.

We should not expect anything better.

Three of four Bay Area-based members of Congress change votes on Wall Street bailout

Three of four members of Congress from the Bay Area reversed their votes on the $700 billion Wall Street bailout package approved by the House on Friday.

Citing improvements in the rescue bill, U.S. Reps. Barbara Lee (D-Oakland), Lynn Woolsey (D-San Rafael) and Mike Thompson (D-Napa) all decided in the end to support the controversial bailout that bit the Congressional dust during its first vote Monday.

Only Congressman Pete Stark (D-Fremont) held his ground on the bill, saying it was a bad deal for the American people.

FREMONT, Calif. -- After more than 30 years in Congress, nothing surprises Pete Stark anymore.

That said, Stark said he believes the convention will be the stage allowing presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama to begin the process of "closing the deal" with the nation's voters.
