Feinstein Works Hard to Stop Solar Energy

California needs more energy, quickly.  The Left will not allow drilling for oil off the Santa Barbara coast.  They will not allow nuclear power.  Windmills "kill" to many birds--juts ask Ted Kennedy why he will not allow windmills in Hyannis Port.

Now Senator Dianne Feinstein, who demands the end of oil, will not allow the creation of vast solar panel farms in the Mojave Desert, where only Google can see them.

While she and her husband are making hundreds of millions from enterprises in China, the worst pollutant on earth, Feinstein wants to bankrupt California by not allowing the creation of solar farms in our desert.

Standing Up For Hilda Solis

I work for the Courage Campaign

The stimulus plan isn't the only thing Republicans are obstructing. Hilda Solis, still the representative from CA-32, was nominated as Secretary of Labor by President Obama on December 19. It's been nearly two months and her nomination still hasn't moved out of the Senate HELP committee.

Republicans, led by Mike Enzi of Wyoming, are trying to stop Hilda Solis because of her support of workers' rights, including - but not limited to - the Employee Free Choice Act. They even want her to promise to not lobby on behalf of Employee Free Choice as a condition of confirmation - which she has so far refused to do.

Torres questions aspects of Monday's convention programming; Lauds friend Kennedy for appearance

DENVER -- California Democratic Party Chairman Art Torres said he believes that for the most part the convention has gone well to date, although he said he continues to have issues with some DNCC programming decisions made Monday night.

"I thought Monday night's program was generally too long and I don't know who decided that Jimmy Carter shouldn't speak. I thought that was a mistake," Torres told PolitickerCA.com in a brief interview.
