Thompson found sexy robocall humorous

ROSEVILLE -- U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) had a humorous take on a robocall earlier this week by his Republican opponent that featured a woman speaking in a sultry tone and saying, "Mike Thompson's been a baaad boy."

"I guess there are a couple of things he could've done to raise his name ID," said Thompson, who appeared at an event with Democratic candidate Charlie Brown Friday. "That was one of them."

Longshot candidate releases phone-sex-type robocall

A Republican looking to unseat U.S.  Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) has released a robocall that has to rank as one of the more unusual - and sultry - of the year.

The robocall features a woman's voice speaking in a seductive tone, saying "Mike Thompson's been a bad boy," and then castigating him for voting for the Wall Street bailout package earlier this month as well as the Patriot Act.
