Top 10 Democratic mediocrities in the Colorado legislature

1) Nancy Todd- HD-41

Nancy sure loves sponsoring resolutions. And she jumped on the Clinton bandwagon just as it was stumbling.

2) Suzanne Williams-SD-28

With 12 years in public office she has a mighty slim record of accomplishment.

3) Debbie Stafford- HD-40

This traditionally conservative rep left her party over a construction defects bill. Whoa. Way to think that through.

4) John Soper- HD-34

This guy takes up so much space in the legislature that you need a microscope to see him.

5) Karen Middleton- HD-42

A professional public service lifer, Middleton failed her first test when picked a trip to Mexico over her duties to the state.

6) Wes McKinley- HD-64

Wes did write a book. And we’ve read some of it. His time would be better spent writing legislation.

7) Dan Gibb- SD-16

Quick, tell us two things about Gibb without looking it up.

8) Betty Boyd- SD-21

She’s another public service lifer who just takes up space in the Senate.

9) Alice Borodkin- HD-9

She wants a promotion to the Senate. She’s more talk than action, but will probably get moved up to the senior chamber. That’s just how both parties do it. It’s always someone else’s turn for the Senate.

10) Mark Ferrandino- HD-2

Policy wonk and political junkie who gamed the system into a vacancy appointment.
