Prager to host LPR graduation ceremony

Syndicated conservative talk show host Dennis Prager will be hosting the Leadership of the Rockies (LPR) graduation ceremony on June 13 at the Wildlife Experience at 10035 South Peoria, Parker Colorado.

Prager is carried locally on KNUS 710 AM. In addition he writes a syndicated newspaper column and is a regular contributor to the online forum Townhall.com. As the foremost Jewish conservative political commentator in the US, Prager often explores issues relating to religion and secularism in America.

"Prager was a Fellow at Columbia University's School of International Affairs," says the LPR press release, "where he did graduate work at the Middle East and Russian Institutes. He has taught Russian and Jewish history at Brooklyn College."

LPR, a non-partisan group which seeks to comply fully with IRS Section 501(c)(3) (yeah right), also incidentally seeks to educate future and current leaders on "the Principles of the Founding Fathers" to include "Individual and Property Rights, Personal Responsibility, Free Markets, Limited Government and Low Taxes, [and] Strong National Defense" according to its web site.

The program is sometimes known affectionately as the "Society for the Care and Feeding of Shari Williams" because of its relatively high price tag and lack of real educational substance of the program. Shari Williams is the group's president. She was also the general consultant for Bob Beauprez's bid for Governor in 2006 as well as a close confidante of former Governor Bill Owens.

LPR, and its predecessor program, the Republican Leadership Program, boast a wide array of distinguished Republican graduates, which should in no way threaten its tax-exempt status under IRS Section 501(c)(3).

The filing deadline, err, commencement ceremony will commence at 6 PM. Admission is $50.
