Markey takes message on the road, one door at a time

According to the Ft Collins Coloradoan Betsey Markey candidate for CO-4 and about 20 volunteers took her message (or is it Obama's message or maybe it's McCain's message?) of change on the road knocking door to door this weekend.

"Markey and about 20 volunteers gathered at her headquarters, 419 Canyon Ave., Suite 315, on Saturday morning," writes the Coloradoan, "to begin neighborhood canvassing, part of a statewide effort by Colorado Democrats. Larimer County volunteers went into neighborhoods near the CSU campus and Old Town."

Meanwhile the Musgrave campaign, Markey's opponent and the sitting US Rep for CO-4, denies that Markey represents change. In fact, a Musgrave spokesperson, Jason Thielman, told the Coloradoan "The candidate who represents fighting for change in Washington, D.C., is Marilyn Musgrave."

OK. So everyone is agreed on the need for change.

And we get to argue for the next five months about the definition of the word "is."

It's going to be a real long five months.
