Obama, Clinton fundraisers meet at Denver law firm

Leading fundraisers for former Democratic presidential primary rivals Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton met this week at a Denver law office, the Rocky Mountain News reported Friday.

Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, an early Obama supporter rumored to be a potential vice-presidential pick, also attended the meeting, held at the law offices of Willie Shepherd, the Rocky reported.

Shepherd is a national director of Obama's campaign.

Sebelius told the Rocky the meeting included "key fundraisers who have been with the Obama campaign for a long time and people who had been key fundraisers for Clinton in Colorado."

The meeting, she added, "was not designed as a fundraiser per se but more of an update, a campaign briefing."
