Tranquility has turned to hostility between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton Colorado delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
Following Clinton's speech at the convention Tuesday night, an Obama delegate from Colorado got into a "verbal confrontation" with a Clinton delegate from Colorado, said state Democratic Chair Pat Waak.
"Nobody's had any sleep, everybody's tired and they had a verbal conversation with each other," Waak said. "Tensions are just really high right now."
Waak said the Obama delegate has apologized to the Clinton delegate.
"It's all straightened out," she said.
Tensions between Clinton and Obama delegates from Colorado have become more strained this week - especially following Clinton's speech. Several Clinton delegates told PolitickerCO.com that Obama delegates have taunted and argued with them.
Some Obama delegates were annoyed that Clinton supporters moved to the best seating for the New York senator's speech on Tuesday night, according to several Clinton Colorado delegates.
But Clinton's speech also pacified some of her delegates from Colorado.
"It's one thing to hear through the grapevine that the leader of your group wants you to swing behind the opponent, but to hear it face-to-face, to see the sincerity, to see it live - makes much more of an impact," said Clinton delegate Daniel Kagan of Englewood.
