To drill or not, that’s the question

The seesaw battle to drill or not to drill for more energy (both oil and gas) continued today with Bush pushing for more drilling and exploration according to the AP.

Meanwhile Colorado Democrats US Rep Mark Udall and US Rep Ed Perlmutter said on Monday that "America needs to wean itself off its addiction to fossil fuels," according to 7News Denver's web site.

Today the Boston Herald made public the pitch Obama campaign strategists used with former Clinton supporters last week in bolstering their position that Obama can win enough electoral votes to win the presidency even without winning Ohio and Florida.

How the West will be won in '08

As a nice follow on to yesterday's piece in the Washington Times about how the Democrats won the West, today the Denver Post has an interesting story today about how Democratic governors are planning on helping Obama pick up some key swing state.

Prominently mentioned is Colorado.

And whenever Colorado is mentioned Ritter and Wadams are both sure to get plenty of ink.
