Thomasson fires at Scheffel

The Inside Edge late yesterday received a reply from Robert Thomasson, the Elbert County Commissioner (Democrat) candidate whose complaints about Elbert County Attorney Mark Scheffel (Republican) we detailed in yesterday's story.

In response to our request from him for more information, Thomasson made some vaguely worded charges about "unexplained and perhaps unnecessary legal expenses" that Scheffel billed Elbert County for.

While the site's slogan is "Bringing Elbert County into the 21st Century" it looks like they are using 19th Century web technology.
