Burton not wavering in supporting Palin after daughter's pregnancy

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Pro-life activist and Republican National Convention Colorado delegate Kristy Burton said Monday afternoon that she's not wavering in her support of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin following news that Palin's 17-year-old daughter is pregnant.

Burton: Palin a "really strong" VP pick

Colorado pro-life activist and Republican National Convention delegate Kristy Burton said Friday that she was "really glad" John McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate Friday.

"She's a young conservative, she's pro-life, and like John McCain she stands up to the party and does what she believes in when she thinks the party is going in the wrong direction," Burton said. "She's just really strong."

With talk of pro-choice GOP veep, Burton takes wait-and-see approach

Republican National Convention delegate and pro-life activist Kristy Burton is a John McCain supporter.

But with talk of McCain gauging reaction to a potential pro-choice running mate, Burton told PolitickerCO.com that she wouldn't support McCain's vice-presidential pick until he or she is pro-life.
