As part of Michelle Obama's campaign swing through Louisville, she stopped at Kosair Children's Hospital to visit with patients and read to children in the facility's playroom.

In front of a wall of cameras representing local and national media, the wife of presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) held a reading session with a handful of children, who reclined on brightly colored bean bag chairs and interacted with Mrs. Obama throughout her 15 minute visit.

Mrs. Obama chose the Margaret Wise Brown children's classic The Runaway Bunny to read to the children, but her performance evidently demanded an encore, as the patients encouraged her to read further.

She then read the seminal Green Eggs and Ham, a book she noted was a personal favorite.

She was accompanied on her visit by Congressman John Yarmuth (D-Louisville), an Obama superdelegate, but the reading was left to candidate's wife.
