Palin visit to Jeffersonville mobilizes Kentucky Republicans

The Jefferson County Republican Party has already distributed three thousand tickets to tommorrow's event in Jeffersonville, Indiana with Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Louisville-area Republicans have snapped up the tickets to the event taking place just across the Ohio River from their hometown. 25,000 total attendees are expected, and it appears a large contingent from Kentucky will be among them.

Jefferson County GOP chair Bradford Cummings said the Palin rally was a "huge event" for Louisville Republicans, and his organization was working to get "as many people as possible" to attend.

Tickets to the event are being distributed at the county party's Louisville office until 9pm today, with the office again opening at 9am on Wednesday to continue the process.

The office is located at 232 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd.

Palin will be appearing with country star Hank Williams, Jr. at a warehouse in Jeffersonville. Doors are expected to open at 4:30pm.
