Mongiardo spouts Republican talking points on the public option

We all know that Dan Mongiardo has been repeating false Republican talking points against Obama's clean energy bill this week, but now it appears that he is going to do the exact same thing with Obama's health care reform.

Jim Pence asked Dan Mongiardo about how he would feel about a single payer public option being included to health care reform, and what word did Mongiardo emphasize in his response? The same word that every Republican and Fox News commentator has been using for weeks now, and will continue to use over the next month.

"RATIONING"

That's right folks, Dan Mongiardo is against a public option because we'll have to start "rationing" health care.

If Dan Mongiardo gets into the United States Senate, he will be Ben Nelson and Joe Lieberman on steroids, trying to kneecap Democrats and Barack Obama on every issue imaginable. Complete with coal stains.

FRANKFORT – Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Daniel Mongiardo announced his opposition today to the “Cap-and-Trade” provisions of H.R. 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009.

Citing the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), Mongiardo said the bill would dramatically increase electric rates in Kentucky on working families and businesses over the next ten years.

First he mocks Glenn Beck, then..... he does one of the greatest things I've ever seen on live television. I need a fainting couch, not because of the F-bomb, but because it was just that awesome to see that happen on Fox News.

I'm thinking (1) this will be the last straw for Roger Ailes, and (2) he won't have trouble finding a new job.

O'Reilly now actively stalking women

You all knew that Bill O'Reilly was a disgusting sexual harasser and blames rape victims because of their wardrobe. But now he's taken to actively stalking women. Disgusting. From the wonderfully talented Amanda Terkel:

This weekend, while on vacation, I was ambushed by O’Reilly’s top hit man, producer Jesse Watters, who accosted me on the street and told me that because I highlighted O’Reilly’s comments, I was causing “pain and suffering” to rape victims and their families. He of course offered no proof to back up this claim, instead choosing to shout questions at me.

I expect O’Reilly to air this “interview” at some point this week, possibly as early as tonight.
