Bill Caylor pleads guilty to being a dick

A violent, wife beating and stalking, dick:
Bill Caylor, president of the Kentucky Coal Association, pleaded guilty in Fayette District Court on Friday to a misdemeanor charge of violating an emergency protective order by harassing his wife.

His wife Geaunita Caylor alleged May 8 in a court petition that Bill Caylor has physically and emotionally abused her for years. On May 7, she said, her husband approached her table in a restaurant and dragged her by the arm into the parking lot, where he yelled at her until police were called.

The emergency protective order prohibited Bill Caylor from coming near his wife or communicating with her.

Trouble with King Coal and Queen Coal

There was little doubt in my mind yesterday that King Coal baron Bill Caylor was one of the most despicable people in the state of Kentucky.

Today? Well, let's just say I haven't changed my mind, and I'm not particularly shocked.
Bill Caylor, longtime lobbyist and spokesman for Kentucky’s coal industry, will appear in Fayette District Court on Friday on a misdemeanor charge of violating an emergency protective order filed by his wife.

“I don’t know what I can say about this,” Caylor said Thursday. “If you all want to rake me over the coals, go ahead.”

Lexington police arrested Caylor on May 10 at his home on Turkey Foot Road in Lexington.
