Roundup of Last Night's Lexington OFA Rally

Last night in Phoenix Park in downtown Lexington, Organizing for America hosted a pro-health insurance reform rally. It was well attended, with approximately 100 people present at the peak. Better yet (or not, if you're looking for great entertainment), there were no tea-baggers present that I or any of my cohorts saw. We got some good video of some of the speakers and the demonstration itself, including a personal declaration of support for health reform from Lexington's wonderful State Senator, Kathy Stein. Response from passing drivers was almost universally supportive, as you'll hear in the videos below. Enjoy and keep fightin' the good fight for health insurance reform!

This first video is Kathy Stein proudly speaking out in favor of reform:

This is a shot of the whole group with the sounds of well-wishers honking at us:

This video is Kathy Stein standing on the corner of Limestone and Main with Don Pratt:

And finally, part 1 of Kathy Stein's kick-ass speech:

And part 2:

Enjoy the videos and be sure to check out OFA's

KY Atheists defeat God. Our fate now lies in Your noodly appendages.

As Terri mentioned last week, the vile Godless heathens among us in KY have now opened our state up to attack from hurricanes, tornadoes, and Muslin Turrahists.

No longer will this plaque in Frankfort protect us:
"the safety and security of the Commonwealth cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon Almighty God."With the work of fine patriots like KY "Democrat" Tom Riner now destroyed by these irresponsible atheists, the protection of our white women and children now rests in the Noodly Appendages of one Supreme Being.

Personally, I think putting Him on the state flag is our only hope.

If Kathy Stein introduces this legislation, I vow to steal her away from Alan. Alan... you're on notice.

Don't tread on my teabag!

I was back in beautiful downtown Lexington this weekend for the 4th of July parade, as our finest marched past the glory that is Newberry Canyon (soon to be Thunderlawn).

Lt. Dan apparently went by in his 4-wheeler first (I missed him), throwing little nuggets of coal to the children on the sidewalk. Badass Kathy Stein and Kelly Flood walked with the big Fayette Co. Democrats contingent (Ernesto's a judge now, so I guess he can't walk with them these days). There were no Mongiardo signs in their group or at the Fayette Co. Dems table, which is interesting. Everybody I talked to was fully on the Conway boat, as well.

Senator Kathy Stein Is On Thin Ice

Known She-Devil Kathy is on thin ice. Take a look at this photo of her commiserating with the awful homosexuals like the mean, scary woman she is:

What is wrong with this image? Why, she appears to be thinner than us. And she’s wearing fancy shoes. That is unacceptable.
She better not try [...]

Flood passes freshman test

FRANKFORT -- Kathy Stein was known for giving freshmen legislators a thorough grilling when a bill they sponsored finally made it to the House floor for a vote.

The Lexington Democrat, however, left the House this year after being elected to the state Senate.

So it fell to House Minority Leader Jeff Hoover, R- Jamestown, to rib Rep. Kelly Flood, who replaced Stein in the House, Tuesday when Flood presented her first bill to the House for a vote. The bill would fine anyone who interfered with a breastfeeding woman who is feeding her child in public.

Afternoon Dept of Seance With Your Fetus

Isn’t it just bizarre that the “seance with your fetus” bill was removed from Judiciary and placed in Senate Veterans, Military Affairs & Public Protection? That’s the committee to which Kathy Stein has been assigned. We fully expect her to lose her shiz. We can’t wait to hear what she has to [...]

Republican candidate jumps into 75th LD race

Kelly Flood's run for the 75th state House district will not go unopposed, as Fayette County Republican officials tapped dental assistant Kimberly Ward as their candidate for the race, according to Polwatchers.

It is ward's first bid attempt to win public office.

Ward and Flood will face off in an open seat race for the Lexington district formerly held by Democratic incumbent Kathy Stein.
