U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield (R-Hopkinsville) will join President George W. Bush tomorrow at the Fort Campbell military installation in southern Kentucky for a ceremony to honor a soldier for his volunteer service.
Whitfield will reportedly fly with Bush from Washington on Air Force One in time to arrive for the 10 am event.
At the ceremony, Bush is set to award wounded Iraq veteran Sergeant John Forbess with the Volunteer Service Award.
After being injured in Iraq in 2003, Forbess now serves as a mentor for other wounded troops at Fort Campbell.
