Yarmuth remains the only Kentucky Democrat on DCCC's ad list

U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth's (D-Louisville) race for the 3rd Congressional District is still the only U.S. House campaign in Kentucky on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's list for targeted television ad buys, even after the list was expanded by 20 in recent days.

Chandler endorses Obama: ‘I want to be on the right side of history'

LOUISVILLE - 6th District Congressman Ben Chandler (D-Versailles) officially announced his support of the Presidential campaign of Illinois Senator Barack Obama today at a press conference in downtown Louisville. Chandler becomes the second of Kentucky's eight superdelegates to endorse Obama, joining 3rd District Congressman John Yarmuth - who appeared with Chandler at today's event.

Chandler holding $1M after 1Q

6th District Congressman Ben Chandler (D-Versailles) joins fellow Kentucky incumbent Ed Whitfield (R-Hopkinsville) with over $1 million on hand at the end of the first fundraising cycle of 2008.

Adding $73,075 in 1Q contributions, Chandler's campaign now holds $1,049,625 in funds as it prepares for the November elections. $628,544 has been raised by Chandler during this election cycle.

The Chandler campaign spent $15,420 in the first quarter, for a total of $108,267 in the cycle.
