Did God teabag America?

Rand Paul's campaign manager sez so:
Now is the time to fight back harder than ever to restore America to our God-given greatness and that's why Rand Paul's platform of balanced federal budgets and freedom, capitalism, and real job creation is catching on.Meanwhile, the Grayson crowd keeps up with the "kooky" theme:
On the way out, one fellow fervently waving a Ron Paul sign could be heard mumbling something about black helicopters and the Kennedy assassination.Oh, don't forget about the ACORN census workers herding us into those FEMA concentration camps, either.

Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell is afraid to step foot in this state, because he's a damned dirty librul soshalist. And the NRSC is, too.

Stock up on popcorn, Kentucky.

Republicans Using Bush Against Specter

From Political Wire:
The NRSC is launching a wave of robo-calls to Pennsylvania Democrats designed to remind them of Sen. Arlen Specter's relationship with former President Bush, according to First Read.

The audio features Bush's endorsement of Specter during his 2004 GOP primary.

Though it worked well for Democrats in last year's elections, this appears to be the first time Republicans have used Bush in such a negative way.I'm torn between tears of joy at witnessing the death of a major American political party before my very eyes and a sick stomach at their utter lack of a moral center. We'll see if this stunt works.

McConnell plays without NRSC help

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Louisville) enters Tuesday with his political fate on the line, and without the help of a cash-strapped national Republican Party.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has not aired advertisements in support of McConnell in his tougher-than-expected battle against Democratic businessman Bruce Lunsford, and has no plans to launch a last-minute buy on his behalf, NRSC spokesman John Randall said Monday afternoon. The NRSC has faced a large fundraising disadvantage compared to their Democratic counterparts.
