Lindell: Finks and Cohen don’t represent Paul campaign

Ken Lindell, coordinator of the Maine Ron Paul campaign, said the two men removed from the Maine Republican Convention earlier did not represent the campaign, although both said earlier that they were Paul supporters.

Mark Finks of Falmouth was escorted out of the convention after he tried to speak out against a provision which he said kept Paul’s state delegates from being elected to the national delegation. Ed Cohen had tried to get onto the floor, saying he was a delegate even though officials said he wasn’t.

Lindell said that he had not heard of Finks being a Paul delegate, and that Paul did very poorly in Falmouth.

Cohen had been asked to leave the Waterville Paul delegation. “We don’t want him,” Lindell said.
