GOP convention speeches: Susan Collins part 1
By Jessica Alaimo, PolitickerME.com ReporterA group of firefighters met U.S. Sen. Susan Collins outside the Civic Center. The all wore shirts, “Firefighters for Susan Collins”.
During her speech, Collins applauded party unity and urged support for John McCain. Her remarks were met with waving signs, cheers and noisemakers.
