18-year-old runs for DNC delegate

Benjamin Goodman is barely old enough to vote, and is determined to get to the Democratic National Convention.

Goodman, a senior at Kennebunk High School, submitted signatures to run as a national delegate for Barack Obama. He has set up a Web site and made a video, embedded below.

He has followed Obama’s campaign since it took off, and served as the Maine High School Director of Students for Barack Obama, mobilizing high school students who are eligible to vote.

National delegates will be elected at this weekend’s state convention.
