Dobson for Senate campaign: never mind

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Ms. Dobson has failed to qualify for the 2008 ballot for U.S. Senate. You will recall, in an earlier post, we gently chided Ms. Dobson for her campaign antics, encouraging her to actually qualify for the ballot first.

Apparently, that advice was not taken.

The final numbers are not available, but it is certain that she missed the 4000 signature requirement.

It's time to pack up the No Blood for Oil signs, roll up the wrinkled peasant skirts, put away the Impeach George Bush petitions and join the rest of us back here on planet earth.

Of course, anyone who knows Ms. Dobson, also knows that she will absolutely appeal any decision made by "the Man."

Ms. Dobson, I'm sure Mr. Hoffman could use an events coordinator. He qualified for the ballot.

One last thing: It might not be too lateĀ  for Ms. Dobson to run for office. If you click here, you will see the form for write-in candidates. That form must be submitted by Thursday, June 5th.
