Summers: Palin understands the energy crisis
By Jessica Alaimo, PolitickerME.com ReporterCharlie Summers, the Republican candidate for the First Congressional District, said Gov. Sarah Palin will take a strong stand in making sure the country drills its own resources to solve the energy crisis.
His full statement:
"I am excited by Senator McCain's selection of Governor Palin. Governor Palin understands first hand the energy crisis we are facing today and is willing to take a strong stand in making sure we drill in America for our own resources. Her hands-on knowledge of the energy issues facing America will be critically important in the campaign and as she serves as Vice President.
"Senator McCain has chosen a running mate that will both challenge the status quo and help to change the way politics is conducted in Washington. Her historic nomination will bring excitement and energy to the race and her executive experience will further strengthen Senator McCain's campaign."
