MPA spends in SD 15 race

The Maine People’s Alliance has gotten involved in the state Senate district 15 race.

An independent expenditure report shows that the organization has spent $350 in support of current Rep. Deborah Simpson (D-Auburn), who is running to unseat Sen. Lois Snowe-Mello (R-Poland).

The money was spent on literature.

Right now the MPA’s biggest issue is health care, according to their Web site. They support universal single payer health coverage and further implementation of Dirigo Health.
