Campaign trail blog: Mills' Market, Andover

Today PolitickerME.com is live blogging from the Collins for Senator bus. We’re trailing Sen. Susan Collins as she visits Northern Oxford County. We spent a half day with her challenger, U.S. Rep. Tom Allen, Thursday, and anticipate spending another half day with him soon.

Mills’ Market in Andover

ANDOVER – Sen. Susan Collins just made a quick stop at Mills Market, a family business in Andover.

There she mingled with the owners, then made a stop at a local school to meet with some students.

She marveled over a board the store had on the number of moose and bears people got during hunting season.

Throughout the day, we’re also talking to people in Oxford County about the two referendum questions. One of the members of the Mills’ family who works at Mills Market had some interesting insight about Question 1 and how it affects her business—being a half hour from New Hampshire.
