Of the $264,200 CasinosNO! raised in its 11-day pre-general finance report, $185,000 came from the family owning LL Bean.

CasinosNO!, run by consultant Dennis Bailey, is in an underdog fight against Las Vegas, which is backing Question 2 asking voters if they want to bring a casino to Oxford County. They have spent $1.4 million on the effort so far.

Most of the PAC’s activity has happened in the past 21 days. In the recent report, CasinosNO! raised 75 percent of its funding. The PAC has $64,581 in its coffers.

Most of CasinosNO!’s funds are coming from Maine business owners, such as the LL Bean family. Another small but significant donation of $500 came from former Gov. Angus King.

Also, Sunday River, a Newry ski resort, has donated $2,000.

Almost all of the money in Bailey’s coffers has gone to advertising. The PAC has paid $241,995 to the Stevens, Reed, Curcio & Potholm agency for television advertising in the past 21 days.
