Phil Curtis elected as minority whip

Rep. Phil Curtis (R-Madison) has just been elected as House minority whip by the House Republicans.

It was a three-way race between Curtis, John Robinson (R-Raymond) and Stacey Fitts (R-Pittsfield). Fitts was dropped from the race in the first round of balloting, and Curtis prevailed in the second.

We will have more on the election later.
