Jim Hamper's tribute to John Martin
By Jessica Alaimo, PolitickerME.com ReporterVideo: At the end of the House Republicans caucus last Thursday, Rep. Jim Hamper (R-Oxford) sang a GOP tribute to Rep. John Martin (D-Eagle Lake).
Maine Republicans have painted the Democrats as tax-and-spenders, and ome point to Martin as the ringleader of the group. They used this theme through the campaign, and it rang through their first caucus.
Martin has been in the legislature for decades, and spent years as peaker of the House.
