Post-recount, no change in Oxford County position
By Jessica Alaimo, PolitickerME.com ReporterA recount Thursday upheld the results of the Oxford County register of probate race, which had Bruce Rood (D-Waterford) beating incumbent Tom Winsor (R-Norway).
Preliminary results found Rood winning by 352 votes.
The recount narrowed the margin to 305 votes with a final tally of 15,157 to 14,842.
