Fed Up with Taxes fined $10K

Mainers may not have to pay a few extra pennies on beer, wine and soda, but the group that backed the repeal of the beverage tax has been fined $10,000.

Susan Cover of the Kennebec Journal reports that Fed Up with Taxes, the proponents of Question 1 which passed on Nov. 4, was fined by the Ethics Commission for filing campaign finance reports late.
