State’s youngest delegate on Obama’s VP pick

Benjamin Goodman, 18, of Kennebunk is the youngest delegate to the Democratic National Convention. He is a Barack Obama supporter, and sent in the following statement regarding the selection of Joe Biden as the Vice Presidential nominee.

Goodman recently graduated from Kennebunk High School, and will attend the University of Maine in the fall.

Goodman, others ready for Denver

Benjamin Goodman, an 18-year-old high school student from Kennebunk, was elected as a Democratic National Convention delegate for Barack Obama.

Goodman said he will keep a blog about his experience in being a national delegate. He has also been elected to the Maine State Democratic Committee.

18-year-old runs for DNC delegate

Benjamin Goodman is barely old enough to vote, and is determined to get to the Democratic National Convention.

Goodman, a senior at Kennebunk High School, submitted signatures to run as a national delegate for Barack Obama. He has set up a Web site and made a video, embedded below.

High school student runs to represent Obama in Denver

Ever since he was a little kid, Benjamin Goodman watched the Democratic National Convention on television. He’s always wanted to go.

He’s finally old enough to vote, and he’s wasting no time. The 18-year-old Kennebunk High School student hopes to be elected as a national delegate for Barack Obama at the state convention.
