Libertarians sue Maine

The Libertarian Party is suing the state in order to get Presidential candidate Bob Barr on the November ballot, the Bangor Daily News reported this weekend.

They contend that municipal clerks were told not to certify signatures collected after Aug. 8.

Nader eyes third presidential bid, submits signatures for Maine ballot

Ralph Nader, a hopeful presidential candidate, submitted 5,500 signatures to the Maine Secretary of State’s office today.

This is more than the 4,000 needed.
