Five McCain surrogates speak to Maine, Vermont

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Maine delegation held a joint breakfast with the Vermont delegation Tuesday morning, where five surrogates for John McCain spoke.

Fiorina: Clinton supporters coming to McCain

Carly Fiorina, senior advisor to Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign, said that Hillary Clinton’s supporters are now giving serious thought to the Republican Presidential ticket.

Speaking to the Maine and Vermont delegations Tuesday morning, Fiorina said that both Clinton and McCain have a track record of bipartisanship.

Republican National Convention: Day 2

The Maine delegation is holding a joint breakfast with the Vermont delegation this morning. Several surrogates for John McCain will speak, including:

  • Carly Fiorina, a senior McCain adviser
  • Andy McCain, John McCain’s brother
  • Ed Mechenbier, a former prisoner of war
  • Dorcas Hardy, the Commissioner of Social Security

The Convention starts later today, at 6:30.
