Maine: Jesse Jackson Jr.

After hearing Illinois Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s speech last night, Diane Denk, an alternate delegate for Barack Obama, hopes he will run for Obama’s Senate seat.

Jackson was one of many speakers last night at the Democratic National Convention.

“All of the speeches were absolutely brilliant…” Denk said. “Ted Kennedy was so vibrant, so robust. It was an exciting moment to see the old warhorse in action.”
